For Entertainment Purposes Only

CHICAGO (-5) vs Detroit - This is tough because the bears look like a yo-yo team like the 06 Panthers. They just won last week which would lead me to believe that they would blow this one but Griese has thrown 300 yds in the past 3 games and that shouldn't change against the defensively challenged Lions.

NY GIANTS (-9.5) vs Miami - This one is in London. Who knows how the travel might effect them. It shouldn't matter unless there were snakes on the Giants plane. The Giants are on a roll and the Dolphins lost their best player. Giants should take them in double digits.

Buffalo (+3) at the Jets - Who really cares about 2nd place in the AFC east? Their fans, gamblers, who knows. What I do know is that the Bills should have beat Dallas and would be a roll and the Jets haven't really shown up all season. That being said this is the NFL. If the Bills really want to compete they have to be a Jets team with an upcoming QB controversy.

Okay, I read the first few recent blog entries featuring sports, prayers, poetry and a tv review. Interesting mix. Since I'm not a sports fan, I concentrated mainly on the love poem. That was such sweet poetry, and Mary Anne must have been deeply touched by your words. Keep that honeymoon light burning!

Love the picture of Grandma!!! (Especially since I'm the one who was lucky enough to take it). Whenever I drive down that street, I imagine her at that window and I have to smile. She was always there, waving goodbye, and then waiting for us to come home again.

See you this "Memorial" weekend.
