The 2nd Honeymoon

I am sorry that I have not written in awhile. It's not like anybody reads this, so I am apologizing to the website. I have been a bit jet lagged since returning our Mediterranean cruise. It was a dream trip and our first real vacation in a long time. The past several years everytime we went on a trip it was all about planning our wedding. This time we were able to relax. We met great people on the trip and will hold the memories with us forever. We were able to see some of the most historic places in the world. Each day we were just amazed at being able to be where events occured that changed the course of mankind. I will try to get into more detail about certain ports but really just wanted to thank my wife for the trip.

The trip was for our first year wedding anniversary. She had been wanting to go to Europe for the past 7 years and I would always say its too expensive. My bad. It just got worse. So we finally went. And it blew my mind. It was also my first cruise. We figured going on a cruise, which we pay for in American dollars would be the cheapest way to travel Europe. I think we made a great choice. Anyway, during the entire trip we were so patient with each other. She always was really understanding with my motion sickness. There weren't any complaints. We just lived it up. And we ran into some problems on our trip home which were my fault and she still didn't get mad at me. Our phones didn't work, we didn't have internet access, and there was no newspaper delivered to us. It was just us. I don't know if it was the beauty of the Sistine Chapel, the scenary of Santorini, the romance of a gondola ride, or walking through the brothel in Pompeii :) but I fell even deeper in love with my wife. After 12 years of being in this relationship, we continue to learn about each other, teach one another, grow together, and continue to fall deeper in love. I was blessed to be able to go on this dream vacation but am even more blessed to have her in my life.

Yeah, I think it was the brothels that did the trick. We should have more of those in the Bay Area. Oops. Wait, there's Chinatown.

Glad you enjoyed your trip! And thanks for not making me look at ALL of your pictures! Hahah!
